Hello, I’m Kirstyn Emily — an illustrator and fantasy artist based out of Treaty 13 Territory, Toronto, Canada.

I specialize in book illustration, trading cards, and concept art painted either digitally or traditionally. I’m most interested in creating images centred on folklore, fantasy, and the gothic as subjects to interrogate narratives about gender, history, and pedagogy.

When I’m not making art, I can be found with my nose in a book, befriending dogs, alpine skiing, or belting ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ at karaoke.
